18th July 2009 Windsurfing: Ynyslas Wind Direction: NNW Wind Stength: 25-30 knots Surf / Sea State: 2-3 foot surf Air Temperature: 15ºC Sea Temperature: 16ºC Weather: Sunny spells Max Speed: Distance Covered: Excellent session with decent steady winds and some nice little waves. The sun was shining too. Dunk and Derek were out kitesurfing and I joined them on my little Wave board with a 5m sail. A little overpowered to start with but a load of extra outhaul helped and then I was perfectly maxed out. It took a little while to get into the swing of things, especially jumping on that tack, but the wave-riding was good too. Water is nice and warm and with the sun shining it was lovely out there. Aching a little now though. |
